A collective brand for creative people.

"Collective Nouns" is a brand management agency founded by Cara Lonergan. Her clients are multi-hyphenate creatives - choreographer/dancers, video producers/on-air talent - and she chose the name because collective nouns are words that "represent a group of objects, people, animals, or ideas as a single concept or a single thing" (ie everything from a "hive" of bees to a "group" of people).

Collective Nouns runs marketing and social media consulting, all the way to 360 management - everything from helping strategise and negotiate partnerships to running their calendar.

Bringing together structure with personality.

The identity uses the Freight typeface for its primary logo, but also features a blank space which invites its members to take note of the collective noun that truly represents their creative team. A bold colour palette accompanies it’s application to highlight the vibrancy of it’s client base and allows for an array of fun yet structure layouts and finishes.
